Central FL History 101: Civil War, Citrus, and the Great Freeze (1860-1894)
Join museum director Michael Perkins as he reviews the seminal events that shaped Central Florida history from the Civil War to the present. This four-part series will delve into the rich history of our area from long before the opening of Walt Disney World to today.
The History Center is located in the restored 1927 courthouse at Magnolia Avenue and Central Boulevard in the heart of downtown Orlando. Parking is available in the Library Parking Garage at 112 E. Central Blvd. across from the Orlando Public Library.
