POSTPONED - Central FL History 101: Recovery, Growth, and War (1900 to 1945)
Join museum director Michael Perkins as he reviews the seminal events that shaped Central Florida history from the Civil War to the present. Discover how Central Florida survived the Great Freeze and became a tourist destination by the 1920s. From agriculture to airports, this was a time of transition for the area.
The History Center is located in the restored 1927 courthouse at Magnolia Avenue and Central Boulevard in the heart of downtown Orlando. Parking is available in the Library Parking Garage at 112 E. Central Blvd. across from the Orlando Public Library.
