Ahoy, matey! We hope you have your sea legs because the History Center and Florida Public Archaeology Network invite you to explore Florida’s exciting maritime history. Dive into archaeology to map an underwater shipwreck, demonstrate your daring in a swashbuckling pirate obstacle course, build a rum-runner racer to outrun the law, and more. Also, be sure to pick up your History Buff Button to add to your collection. Earn a reward to the History Center when you collect four History Buff buttons!
No registration is required for this drop-in program, and admission to the museum is free.
Note: Activity supplies are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
The History Center is located in the restored 1927 courthouse at Magnolia Avenue and Central Boulevard in the heart of downtown Orlando. Parking is available in the Library Parking Garage at 112 E. Central Blvd. across from the Orlando Public Library.
