Lee, Esq. owner of The Legal Department, is a Florida business attorney who focuses on helping small service businesses. She was awarded the SBA 2019 North Florida Woman Owned Business of the Year. She’s AV Preeminent® Peer-Rated by Martindale-Hubbell® (the highest possible rating) and has a Superb AVVO® Rating: 10 out of 10. She’s a member of the Jacksonville Bar Association, serving this year as the co-chair of the Solo and Small Firm Committee. She’s served as the President of the Small Business Resource Network and is a board member of the Women Business Owners of Northeast Florida. Laurie conducts the “Legal Matters” course for the Jacksonville Women’s Business Center and regularly speaks for UNF business classes, as well as workshops for the SBDC and Score. She is a graduate of the University of Florida, Levin College of Law, with honors in 2003.
