Remote On-Call RFP Writer

Job Description
Wordsmith Documentation Services, LLC is seeking a Remote On-Call RFP Writer. This role is
integral to supporting our Principal/CEO, focusing on writing RFP content. The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative skills, attention to detail, and a passion for writing, which will contribute to the company's success through effective collateral development.

Responsibilities include: 

  • Assist in the writing of RFP sales content
  • Create template documents
  • Maintain content catalogs
  • Must have strong customer support orientation for internal/external customers
  • Demonstrated professional demeanor and the ability to maintain confidential information (non-disclosure agreement (NDA)
    Perform other duties assigned
  
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, English, Journalism or Writing

Requirements:
  • One year of experience writing RFP content
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams)
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Adobe Acrobat Pro, Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Premier Pro)
  • Interest in APMP and Shipley
  • Knowledge of content database
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong follow-up skills
  • Superb organizational skills and ability to multitask
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines while producing high-quality deliverables
  • Familiarity with remote platforms (Microsoft Teams, Webex, Zoom, SharePoint, etc.)
  • Ability to sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA)
  • Ability to work on-call Monday – Saturday. Extended hours as needed.
  • Ability to take a writing test
  • PC computer/laptop with high-speed internet access
