Personal Lines Customer Service Representative

Summary- Provides support in obtaining, maintaining, expanding, and servicing accounts. Quoting and binding of policies, cross selling, service renewals. Helps the agency meet its profit and growth objectives. Must be enthusiastic, friendly, and respectful.
Duties: Quote new and renewal policies and explain to customers
- Advise clients on insurance matters and bind policies.
- Review applications, renewal request, endorsements.
- Process Mortgagee request and provide Dec Pages
- Process cancellation requests.
- Prepare forms/ Apps and make sure info gets into our system (AMS)
- Keep up with companies, worksheets, forms, bulletins, and manuals.
- Take claim reports and maintain files in office management system (AMS)
- Keep up with (CE) continuing education and computer development.
- Perform other work duties as required.
Experience and Skill Background: Two years’ experience as CSR. Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Windows and AMS360. Explaining policies to clients in person or by phone. Ability to manage time and stay on task and be a team player.
Education: High school education or equivalent. Licenses or Certifications-
4-40 CSR Licensed | 20-44 P&C License |2-20 Agent Licenses may also be used.
